11/13/11
On my trip to the site Sunday, I noted: concrete has been poured for the rear walkways between the buildings; carpeting has been installed in the Kidstown auditorium and in some of the classrooms; drywall is being installed in the Cafe'; bolts have been installed in the floor of the sanctuary to secure the seating; bars have been erected in the ceiling of the sanctuary to hold the stage lighting; and the bricked planters have been erected at the entrance to the sanctuary building.

11/10/11
Made a quick run by the site this morning. The place was covered in workers and supervisors. A lot of action. Things I saw included planting of trees, installation of sod, concrete pouring and grading. They are building what looks like two raised flower/planting beds in front of the sanctuary (like we used to have in front of the building years ago. A gentleman was erecting a sign behind the multi-purpose building (what I have been calling the Youth/Genesis bldg). They are installing what looks to be acoustical insulation to the back walls of the sanctuary. Drywall is being installed for a ceiling in the hallways of the sanctuary building. Oh Me Oh My!!

11/04/11
I was off today so I took a rare weekday look at the progress at the site. Changes everywhere, including: the road leading into the site is now all paved. No more white chalk all over the car!!. Also concrete is being put in around the buildings; trees and bushes are being installed; two garage doors have been put in in the Youth/Genesis bldg leading to the patio; sanctuary walls have been painted and the concrete floor has been tinted and polished; wood flooring has been installed on the stage; glass has been installed in the camera booth; and in the office spaces they are painting and installing book shelves and cabinetry. I also shot a panoramic video inside the sanctuary. Enjoy!
