Had an afternoon off of work, so I decided to visit the site today. Wow. You would not believe the things that have happened since Saturday. They are installing cabinets in the pre-school classrooms and work areas. They are installing the metal frames for the stage in Kidstown auditorium. They are installing the roof over the walkways behind the sanctuary leading to the other two buildings. Drywall is going up in the hallways of the Sanctuary building and inside the sanctuary itself the last of the HVAC piping is up. Oooohhh, and the air conditioning was running in the Pre-school building. Have a look!

Again, it is so exciting to go to the site each Saturday and view the progress. Things are really moving along well. Today I observed: painting of rooms and hallways in the Pre-school; lights and air vents installed in the Pre-school ceilings; patio roof structures installed between the three buildings; work continues inside the sanctuary; and drywall is being installed in the offices.

WOW! It is starting to get really exciting on the site of the new Northwood Church at Carnes. Everywhere I turn I see tremendous progress. Right out of the car this morning I noticed that the irrigation is being installed by the landscapers. Drywall and windows are going up in the Youth/Genesis bldg. Exterior doors are going in all over campus. In the sanctuary, the long, black HVAC pipes are growing out of the walls. Also the camera booth and center entrance from the foyer is being framed. The drywall is going up in the church office spaces. A platform has been installed to support the baptistry tank. First coats of paint are being put on in the Kidstown/Pre-school building along with wainscoting on the hallway walls. And that's just what I could notice. Nice job, y'all!!

A huge amount of work done this week. In the heat that we've had, it is amazing to see. Among the highlights that I could see this morning: the pillars in front of the sanctuary are being erected; pillars going up between the Sanctuary and Youth bldgs to support patio roof; steps installed on risers in rear of sanctuary; drywall is finished in the Pre-school/Kidstown building; and they are starting to install the support framing for the acoustical ceiling tile in the Pre-school/Kidstown bldg.

Pretty wet out at the site today. But thank God for the rain! Progress that I noted this week: drywall is being installed inside the sanctuary. The baptistry shell has made it indoors to the sanctuary floor. Guessing it will be installed soon. And drywall installation continues in the Pre-school/Kidstown building.
