No significant change from last week. From the front you can really see the blocks being built into the backwall of the sanctuary. The foundation appears to be fully in at the Youth/Genesis building. I also included a photo of the sign welcoming you to the construction site.

02/19/11 Part 2

Groundwork has begun on the Youth/Genesis building. The site was being used to pre-stage the materials for the sanctuary and Kidstown/Pre-school.

02/19/11 Part 1

A very sunny day at the site. Significant work has been done this past week. The subroof is now on all the existing structure. A view inside the sanctuary shows that the backwall, with what looks to be maybe four rows of stadium seating, is going up.

Was a gorgeous day at the site. Workers were laying the decking on the front entrance to the sanctuary. They are installing the decking on the Kidstown building. And they are preparing the site of the youth building. Very busy indeed.

02/05/11

Was terribly wet and grey yesterday, so I decided to wait until today to visit the site. Went out with our good friends, Wally and Maria. They had not been out to see the new construction yet. A little more progress has been made to both buildings. I have included a shot from the master plan of the front of the sanctuary. Pastor said that they should be starting on the third building, the Youth building, soon. They have been using that site as a staging area for supplies.
